I will look at your story from a "big picture" perspective to make sure your plot and characters are well developed, that there are no plot holes or inconsistencies, and that your story flows well. Line edits take place after a developmental edit and is where I would focus on the beauty of your sentences. This includes paying attention to sentence structure, word usage and repetition, dialogue, inconsistences, and grammar. If your manuscript is polished and you're getting ready to query agents, this service is for you! I will take a look at your query letter, synopsis, and the first three chapters of your manuscript to make sure your submission package is as polished as possible. Why should I choose you as my editor?

I have experience as both a traditionally-published and indie author. I previously worked as an acquisitions editor for a small press. And I also previously interned for a literary agency. Whatever level of edits you're looking for, you're in good hands.

What age group and genres do you work with?

I'm happy to work with young adult, new adult, and adult manuscripts in every genre except literary fiction, women's fiction, memoir, and non-fiction. All tropes, content, and trigger warnings are welcome.

Are your prices negotiable?

Yes! While I'm building up my client list, my prices are very negotiable. Please reach out if you have any questions.
