After nearly twenty years of living undercover as a smuggler in the United Planetary Systems, Jack Devereaux has almost saved enough credits to retire comfortably and spend his remaining days swigging gin and doting on beautiful women. But when a one-night stand turns into a frozen bank account, Jack will have to undertake the mission of a life time if he wants to see a single credit.
